Public Transport : Train to Hexham.
Walk, cycle or take a taxi from Hexham Station up the hill to the bus station on Battle Hill – approx half a mile.
Take the Hexham to Allen-Heads bus route – the 688 – the bus stops at the square in Allendale at various times during the day. Tel: 0191 420 5050.

By Car: For ease of access we would suggest that you use either the A1 or M6 to the junction of the A69 and then head for Haydon Bridge. When you get to the eastern end of the Haydon Bridge By Pass, take the A686 towards Langley. Approx 1 mile past Langley Castle Hotel take the B6295 towards Catton. Follow the road through Catton, as you come out of Catton take the right hand fork and follow this road past the caravan site, across the river bridge, with the Allen Mills centre on your left. At the top of this road (approx 2-300 yards) you come to a junction, (known locally as 5 lane ends) Take the third turning signposted to Ninebanks and you will find our entrance approx 800yards on the left hand side.
